Hi! We are the family who owns Lil Buddies which is in its seventh year of business. We have always had pets and wanted to take them with us when we went on vacation. We know how traumatic leaving your pets can be for them. Our goal is to provide you with sitters who will love your pets when you can't! Each sitter is carefully screened, trained, and put through background checks: they are bonded and insured. Many of our sitters are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. We are proud members of Petsitters International, ASPCA, and we are Veterinarian recommended. Lil Buddies has been featured in Connecticut Post, New Haven Register and Connecticut Magazine. We know what your pets mean to you so we treat each and every one of them as our own.

Hi~I'm Ed. My mom tells me that when I was little I would often leave my playmates and friends and would go off and play with the dogs that were around, including blind dogs that couldn't play catch with me! I am happy to be playing with your pets today: I love what I do. Sometimes I work in the office, but my favorite job is with your pets! I have two dogs, Gotti and Chloe. Playing with them brings me great joy. I have owned snakes and now have two salt-water aquariums filled with beautiful fish.

Hello, I'm Joanie; Larry's wife and mother of Ed and Kate. I had a cat and dog growing up and wanted my cat to be in my wedding party (she used to follow me to school on a regular basis!) I am the person who will often take your calls and co-ordinate our sitters. I work in the office, behind-the-scenes to help run Lil Buddies. I will work to make sure you and your pets get the care they need!

I'm Larry, husband/partner with Joanie and father to Eddie & Kate. I will do what it takes to care of your pet's needs. Sometimes I am in the office, on the phones, and at other times I am out caring for your pets. Either way, I am delighted to work with you and your Lil Buddies! I am a former police officer and have worked as a businessman for over 27 years.

I'm Kate. I actually work as an Art Facilitator for people with disabilities and work as a free -lance artist. I love animals and am so happy to be part of Lil Buddies. I am the backup for my parents and brother and look forward to helping care for your Lil Buddies!

Hi there! My name is Shary Scully and I am the proud owner of Buddy and Samantha Scully. My husband Gerry and I started this business before we were married (must have been animal magnetism!) These were my bridesmaid's Samantha and Princess who walked me down the aisle on my wedding day. I have a big paw print on the front of my gown to show for it. I have such a passion for animals knowing they deserve the best at all times. We pride ourselves on giving nothing but the best for our pets and yours. My pets are my children and I love spending as much time with them as possible. Although I no longer own and run Lil Buddies, I am happy to say I am a pet-sitter for many of the dogs I have come to know and love.

Hello! My name is Gerry and this is my right-hand man Buddy. My wife Shary and I always understood how difficult it is to leave pets when traveling. Working with other pet lovers and their animals has proven to be more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. The animals I have cared for over the years in many ways have felt like my own. In my spare time I enjoy, you guessed it, spending time with Shary and my two dogs Samantha and Buddy.
